While getting her makeup done, Kandi was doing a whole lotta spilling during a livestream with fans on IG. A fan slid into her comments, curious about whether she’s getting paid when Bey performs a portion of Destiny’s Child’s “Bills, Bills, Bills” on her Cowboy Carter Tour.

For those who don’t know, the mom of three co-wrote the ‘90s bop, along with ‘Bug A Boo,’ for DC back in the day. When the question popped up, Kandi didn’t hesitate to answer. “Yeah, I do actually. I’m super excited about it,” she said with a smile.

She went on to explain that Beyoncé’s team reached out to license ‘Bills, Bills, Bills’ for the tour. “My publisher sent it to us, so we can sign off. The song is already licensed to perform in the show,” Kandi shared. And that’s not all… she proudly showed off a whole wall in her house decked out with awards and accolades, thanks to Bey, including Kandi’s written songs in her performances. Kandi’s out here proving her pen game is still paying dividends.

Rocking a black leather corset top and matching shorts with fringe details, Kandi was giving full-on Beyoncé energy. She topped it off with a black cowboy hat that screamed “yeehaw,” but still ATL.

In the final pic, Kandi posed on a countertop in black heels, looking like she stepped right out of Bey’s tour wardrobe, y’all. The ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ alum captioned the post with a nod to her inspiration, and fans in the comments were living for the pics. On June 28 at Houston’s NRG Stadium, Bey was performing “16 Carriages” when she took to the skies on a Cadillac prop. But things got real when the prop started tilting to one side midair.
