Barcelona plan to open Camp Nou at limited capacity in 2024
Barcelona are planning to open the Camp Nou at limited capacity this year, Diario Sport say.
The initial capacity of the revamped stadium will accommodate around 64,000 fans. Barcelona already forecasts the revenue they will receive from playing on their home turf from December onwards.
Construction work at Camp Nou will continue until the end of 2025 as the club are expanding the capacity of the Stadium.
The new Camp Nou is expected to boast a capacity surpassing 100,000 seats.
Barca played the entire season at the 56,000-capacity Olympic Stadium and failed to win a trophy. Perhaps returning to Camp Nou will be their lucky charm.
