Some might have gone into Super Bowl LVIII wondering whether the Kansas City Chiefs or the San Francisco 49ers would emerge victorious, but for those of us who showed up purely for the Taylor Swift of it all, a bigger question lingered: Would Swift make it back from her Eras shows in Tokyo in time to see her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, play?

Obviously, she showed up—she has a jet and a dream!!!—but even more excitingly, she and Kelce exchanged a very public (albeit fairly tasteful) kiss on the field after the Chiefs won the championship, 25-22.

Ever since Swift was caught on camera running offstage to kiss Kelce at a concert in Argentina last year, the couple has taken their rightful place in the annals of celebrity-PDA history. Honestly, though, it’s just…really nice to see Swift so seemingly happy and at ease after weeping along to 10 albums’ worth of her dating angst?

Obviously, real life isn’t a rom-com and Swift and Kelce surely aren’t as picture-perfect 100% of the time as this smooch would suggest (I mean, surely they argue over…taking the trash out? Cleaning the bathroom? Dropping off the dry cleaning? Do celebrities do literally any of this?), but it’s tempting to see tonight as the final frame in the real-life Taylor Swift Hallmark movie. She’s got her guy, an adorable #87 necklace, and they clearly like each other enough to go full romance-novel in front of the entire world. Luckily, though, there’s still plenty to come in Swift’s actual life—including that new album (which is sure to contain some Kelce references, right?).
