Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are the most popular couple in the entertainment industry at the moment. Despite their busy schedules, the two spend all their free time together, often showing off their “dog food” to their fans.

Travis is currently the boyfriend of the most beloved female singer in the world. However, not many people know that this guy once failed the first time he tried to approach the “snake lady”.

Travis Kelce once intended to give Taylor a bracelet containing his phone number but failed.

The story was shared by Travis himself in July 2023. At that time, the trend of giving each other “friendship bracelets” was booming. When attending Taylor’s concert, Travis planned to give her a bracelet with his personal phone number inside for contact. However, Travis admitted that this plan was a “total failure”. 

“I was disappointed that she didn’t have a pre-show or post-show social because she wanted to save her best voice for the stage performance. I was a little sad that I couldn’t give her the bracelet that I had made,” Travis shared.

“If you go to a Taylor concert, people give each other friendship bracelets. I got a few when I went, but I wanted to give Taylor the one with my phone number on it. Maybe she didn’t want to see me. But her show was incredible.”

Travis eventually succeeded, though. It’s unclear how the football player did it, but fans soon noticed Taylor starting to show up regularly at his games.

The two are not shy about showing their affection in front of fans. Some sources said that the main couple dated around August 2023. In the most expensive game in the football world, the Super Bowl in February 2024, she was also present and burst into tears when her boyfriend’s Kansas City won 25-22 in the end.

In the 2024/2025 football season, Taylor will almost never miss a home game from Travis. She is also said to have a good relationship with her boyfriend’s family as she has appeared with her “future mother-in-law” many times.

Travis, for his part, has been a regular at Taylor’s Era Tour shows from Australia, Singapore to European countries. He also doesn’t hesitate to give his girlfriend expensive gifts, including designer clothes and luxury jewelry. 

The New York Post reported that Travis himself has “gone up” thanks to dating Taylor, with about 50 sponsors chasing him and signing contracts. His assets have also increased by nearly 70% after just a few months with the female singer.

Late last year, Page Six quoted a source close to the couple as saying that they would soon be getting married. “The proposal is coming soon,” the source said.  At this time, Travis and Taylor have not responded to any engagement rumors.
