Commenting on an upcoming New Year’s gig at the House of Blues in Cleveland, Ohio, the guitarist said: “Whenever we do New Year’s Eve gigs, whether it’s [Black Label Society] or I’ve done them with the boss [Ozzy Osbourne] and now we’re doing Zakk Sabbath, it’s always a blast, always a good time.”

Wylde stated he still kept in touch with the Prince of Darkness quite often. He said:

“I still text Ozz all of the time. I recently sent him a GIF when they introduced him on MTV with the big poofy hair. Ozz goes, ‘Oh my God. Zakk, something went terribly wrong between my journey from Sabbath to that. I’ll pay you not to show that to anyone.’ His sense of humor is still hilarious. I’m like, ‘Ozz, keep doing your therapy.'”

Zakk also touched on his performances as part of the revived Pantera and revealed his happiness at the idea of sharing the musical visions of late Pantera members Vinne Paul and Dimebag Darrell: “The Pantera thing is beautiful every night,” he said. “I’m really happy the fellas put it together so people can still hear Vinnie and Dime’s greatness.”
