He will be taking a break from the singing reality TV show. But is he leaving the show permanently? Will he be back? Who will replace him on the show? Here’s everything you need to know.
Is John Legend leaving The Voice?
Yes, John Legend is leaving The Voice and will not be present as a coach in the upcoming season. However, he confirmed that this will not be permanent and he will be back in the future.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Legend mentioned that due to a lot of shows and travel overseas, he will be taking some time off from The Voice. “I’ll be doing a lot of shows…and traveling overseas this summer,” the singer said, adding, “I’ll be back…If only I were actually going to take a break!”
Further, Legend also talked about new coaches Snoop Dogg and Michael Buble joining the show. Notably, Gwen Stefani and Reba McEntire will return for the next season as coaches.
John Legend will be doing shows across the United States and in a few European cities throughout the year. Tickets are on sale on his website for shows all the way up to September 2024.
