Received bitter consequences for cold-blooded comments about Mr. Trump
On July 16, Michael Greene, the representative of Kyle Gass, confirmed to the New York Post that he is no longer working with the Golden Globe-winning singer. The 64-year-old singer/songwriter was fired by talent management company Greene Talent.
The punishment came after Gass made an inappropriate statement about the failed assassination of Mr. Trump on July 13.

Previously, Gass and the remaining member of the group Tenacious D, Jack Black, performed at the ICC Sydney Theater in Australia on July 14, coinciding with Gass’ 64th birthday. Black gave Gass a cake on stage and urged his colleague to make a wish.
In a video recorded by fans, rocker U70 said: “Next time don’t miss Trump.”
The audience at the performance laughed at Gass’s joke, but it was not well received by the online community and caused a backlash on social networks.
Countless critical comments aimed at Gass: “So ungrateful”, “Whatever remains of his career are probably over”, “What a shame”, “What a reproach and inexcusable”…

Gass caused a backlash with a joke on stage while celebrating his birthday.
Senator Ralph Babet, a member of the Australian United Party, condemned Gass’s comments and called for both members of the band to be expelled.
“I condemn in the strongest possible terms Tenacious D’s call for political violence in Sydney on Sunday. Supporting and or desiring the assassination of a former president is absolutely terrible, disgusting, dirty, evil and unacceptable in any way, shape or form. This is not a joke, he was extremely serious when he wanted the former president to die. Any action other than deportation is support for the shooting and assassination attempt on Donald Trump,” the politician wrote.
Faced with a wave of protests from netizens, Gass and Black both spoke up in separate statements.
Gass apologized for his comments about the former US President. He called what he said inappropriate, dangerous and terribly wrong.
“I do not condone any violence, in any form, against anyone. What happened was a tragedy and I am deeply sorry for my egregious lack of judgment. I deeply apologize to those I have disappointed and truly regret any pain I have caused,” he emphasized in the Instagram post.

Meanwhile, Black revealed Tenacious D has canceled the remaining shows on their Spicy Meatball tour.
The 54-year-old singer told The Post that he was completely surprised by Gass’s comments at the concert. He affirmed that he would never tolerate hate speech or encourage political violence in any form.”
Kyle Gass’s full name is Kyle Richard Gass, born in 1960 in California, USA. He is a comedian and singer/songwriter who won a Golden Globe Award. Together with Jack Black, he founded the rock band Tenacious D in 1994. The group had two successful albums.
