Travis Kelce’s ex, Kayla Nicole, gleefully joined in the celebrations after witnessing the Philadelphia Eagles dismantle the Kansas City Chiefs’ dreams of a Super Bowl three-peat with a decisive 40-22 win at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
Amidst the jubilant Eagles fans flooding the stadium, Nicole partook in the post-game revelry, sharing clips on social media that captured her joy amidst the commotion. It was in stark contrast to the dejection of her ex and current girlfriend Taylor Swift inside the same stadium, where the pop megastar was booed when she appeared on screens at the game.
An Instagram story showed the 33-year-old Kayla Nicole delighting in the green and white confetti, playfully hinting at her newfound allegiance with “They said there’s room on the wagon y’all.”
Nicole’s support for the Eagles seems intricately linked to her animosity towards the Chiefs and Kelce. The celebrated tight end and the former sports broadcaster have had an intermittent relationship over five years, which came to a definitive end in 2022.
Despite their past, while guesting on the ‘I Am Athlete’ podcast recently, Nicole confessed her desire to see the Chiefs lose; however, she acknowledged the formidable challenge that any team would face in toppling them. “They’ve got the threats, so, as much as I’d love to see somebody else in the Super Bowl, just to see something new, it’s not gonna happen.”
“They have guys they can throw the ball to who aren’t going to drop the ball in the end zone. Travis Kelce – that’s a tight end that’s not gonna do it, [drop the ball].”

Nicole was far from the only person to take jabs at Kelce. Early Monday, Eagles cornerback C. J. Gardner-Johnson posted an image of himself giving Kelce the stare down on the field with the caption: “Should’ve stayed with that thick —-” — a clear nod to Kelce’s choice to court Taylor Swift instead of Nicole.
In a now-removed follow-up Instagram story, Johnson made his insinuation crystal clear by re-circulating @saycheesetv’s post which highlighted the link between his sly remark and Nicole.
