The Jets honored the late Charlie Kirk on Sunday ahead of the team’s Week 2 matchup against the Bills, days after the conservative activist was assassinated while speaking at a Utah campus event.

Images and video clips of Kirk and his young family with wife Erika were featured on the Jumbotron at MetLife Stadium prior to kickoff.

Kirk, the co-founder of Turning Point USA, was fatally shot on Wednesday during an outdoor engagement at Utah Valley University.

The father of two was 31 years old.

“My husband laid down his life for me, for our nation, for our children,” Erika said Friday in her first comments during a live-stream speech.

“Now and for all eternity, he will stand at his savior’s side wearing the glorious crown of a martyr.”

Authorities identified 22-year-old Tyler Robinson as the alleged assassin. He is expected to be charged with aggravated murder.

In the wake of Kirk’s assassination, the NFL left the decision of whether teams would honor the political activist up to the clubs.

The Cowboys held a moment of silence for Kirk ahead of Sunday’s game against the Giants at AT&T Stadium.

Days earlier on “Thursday Night Football,” the Packers recognized Kirk before their home win against the Commanders.

“The National Football League asks that you please join us in a moment of silent reflection following the murder of Charlie Kirk,” the public address announcer at Lambeau Field said. “The NFL condemns all violence in our communities. It will take all of us to stop hate. Thank you.”
