Taylor Swift encountered another mishap onstage in Tokyo, during her on-going Eras Tour.
This time around, it could have been more fatal as the star almost fell off her ‘Folklore’ stage. After nearly missing her chair during her dance performance, Taylor was captures on camera, missing her footing while walking down a rooftop set during the Folklore portion of her three-hour show.
Dressed in a boho-inspired dress, Taylor seemed to have slipped while descending the moss-covered stairs of the cabin set while she made her way off the roof to sing her next song, ‘Betty’.

Quickly regaining her composure, after the minor tumble, the Grammy winner joked about the incident, stating, “I almost fell off the folklore cabin, but I didn’t and that’s… the lesson.”
Expressing relief at avoiding a mishap, Swift added, “My life flashed before my eyes, yeah no it’s all good… everything’s fine, everything’s great.”
She also revealed that the incident occurred while she was unclasping her safety harness.
It has been an exciting week for Swifties as the singer not only created history at the Grammys for winning 4 Album of the Year Awards, but also announcing that her blockbuster Eras Tour Concert film will be releasing on OTT on March 15. That’s not all, she also announced her new studio album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ and revealed the 17-track playlist.
The singer is expected to fly back to the US over the weekend to support boyfriend Travis Kelce as his team eyes NFL glory at the upcoming Super Bowl finals on Sunday, February 12.
