Rod Stewart, 80, Forced to Cancel More U.S. Tour Dates, Glastonbury Festival Performance Remains Uncertain: ‘I’m Devastated’

Stewart announced that six of his upcoming shows have to be canceled or postponed in an Instagram post on Saturday, June 7

Rod Stewart has canceled several more U.S. concerts due to illness, raising concerns about his upcoming performance at Glastonbury.

On Saturday, June 7, the “Forever Young” singer, 80, announced on Instagram that he is canceling four shows and postponing two in Nevada and California to “recover from the flu.” The update came after Stewart canceled his second concert at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas on June 5.

“I have to cancel and reschedule my next six concerts in June as I continue to recover from the flu,” Stewart wrote in a statement over a black background. “So sorry, my friends. I’m devastated and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience to my fans. I’ll be back on stage and we’ll see you soon – Sir Rod💔.”

The canceled shows are listed as June 7, 8 and 10 at The Colosseum Theater at Caesars Palace and June 14 at Lake Tahoe Amphitheatre at Caesars Republic in Stateline, Nev., according to the post. The rescheduled shows are June 12 in Rancho Mirage, Calif., rescheduled to Sept. 20, and June 15 in Paso Robles, Calif., rescheduled to Sept. 21.

Stewart’s latest series of canceled shows has raised the question of whether or not he will be in a healthy condition to perform at Glastonbury later this month. The singer is scheduled to appear in the Legends slot at the U.K. festival on June 29.

On June 4, Stewart announced on Instagram that he had canceled his June 5 show at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace at his doctor’s request, after battling illness the previous weekend.

“I’m awfully sorry…My doctor ordered a bit more rest while I recover from the flu,” he wrote. “Thanks for your love and understanding — Rod 💔.”

Hours before his scheduled show on June 1, the “Maggie May” crooner announced that he would not be performing after feeling unwell. “I am sorry to inform you that I’m not feeling well and my show tonight at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is being rescheduled to June 10,” he wrote. “Your tickets will be valid for the new date.”

The singer has several shows lined up across the U.S. as part of his One Last Time Tour, throughout July and August. The first tour date was on March 7 in Austin, Texas, and the last show is scheduled to be in St. Louis, Mo., on Aug. 15.

Last month, Stewart performed at the 2025 American Music Awards as he won the Lifetime Achievement Award. He is expected to continue with his residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace through the fall.
