The notoriously womanizing rocker also shared that he is “horrified” by today’s celebrity culture. In a television interview with the Australian program “The Sunday Project,” Jon Bon Jovi openly criticized today’s celebrity culture, where people can do anything, use any tricks to become “famous.”
Many people who participate in reality TV shows are also considered “stars,” “celebrities” who are sought after. All of that makes the 56-year-old rocker feel “terrible”: “I think it’s terrible that we live in a world where people can share the most private, intimate things of their personal lives.
“I don’t really care about them, I’ve never seen their hot clips, or the tricks they use, those are not things for me. For celebrities like that, what would they write if they were to write an autobiography? ‘I made a sex tape and waited for myself to become famous’?! That’s terrible. Sorry, let me skip ahead.”

It can be understood that Jon Bon Jovi is “insulting” some “stars” in the current American entertainment industry – characters who often stand on the difficult line between fame and… scandal, they are known from reality TV shows with tricks.
Jon Bon Jovi also emphasized that today there are many people considered stars, famous people but lack the real abilities needed for an artist: “People should travel a lot, experience and then write books, paint, act, sing… Fame must be something that comes after we have created quality works of art”.
