Shannon Sharpe’s rape accuser, Gabriella Zuniga, has implied that her life has taken a significant turn in a recent social media post.

The woman who alleged that Sharpe forced himself on her on multiple occasions, eventually settling a $50 million lawsuit that reportedly netted her $23 million, has seemingly found solace in faith on the back of her cash windfall.
A few weeks removed from the multi-million-dollar settlement, Zuniga has taken to her Instagram Story, posting an unexpected photo of a page from the Holy Bible, one proclaiming divine vengeance as her middle finger is right below a passage of scripture, reading the following.
“You exalt me above my adversaries; you rescue me from violent men.”

The timing and message have gotten people talking, with some viewing it as a moment of reflection while others see it as a thinly-veiled dig at Sharpe, who was accused of doing something pretty violent.
Some fans opposed her sharing the passage, claiming that some people run to the Bible after committing foul deeds. Other users defended her right to post scripture, pointing out that everyone processes serious life events differently.
As you can see, she did not add a caption or explanation, leaving the internet to fill in the blanks.
Sharpe, meanwhile, recently accompanied his brother, Sterling, at his Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement, but the moment was a bittersweet one as he was officially fired from ESPN days before.
He revealed having asked the network to delay their announcement until after the ceremony, as he didn’t want it to overshadow his brother’s achievement, but his request clearly fell on deaf ears.
