The radio personality and TV host, 44, confirmed that she and her longtime partner, activist and former professional football quarterback Kaepernick, 37, got married “years ago,” according to TMZ Sports.
Diab’s comments come after she revealed in a July Instagram post that she was no longer Kaepernick’s girlfriend, while speaking about how her husband’s 2016 peaceful protest impacted his career.
“I’m not Colin’s girlfriend or roommate or whatever — I’m his wife,” she said in the video as she addressed publications referring to her as Kaepernick’s partner.
Diab and Kaepernick are also the parents of a daughter who they welcomed in 2022.

Announcing her new title at the time, the proud mom and wife wrote, “❤️ I thought long and hard about sharing our life changing news today. I decided to do so because today is the first day in a few weeks where I stepped out for work with a new life title – MOM!”
“Colin and I welcomed our amazing baby to the world a few weeks ago and we are over the moon with our growing family,” she wrote alongside a black and white photo of the family of three.

They also founded the company Ra Vision Media, which showcases the talents of Black and Brown professionals.

Last year, the power couple published a children’s book called We Are Free, You & Me.
“The book celebrates a fictional family enjoying a day together in their loving community,” the co-authors said in an email interview with PEOPLE at the time. “We hope this book inspires young people to live in the light of their own strength, truth and self-worth as they embark on their journey through life. Artist Gladys Jose has beautifully rendered the vibrancy that shines in the universal joy and promise that’s illuminated in the experiences of community.”
All proceeds from the book are donated to the couple’s Know Your Rights Camp to “advance the liberation and well-being of Black and Brown communities through education, self-empowerment, mass-mobilization and the creation of new systems that elevate the next generation of change leaders.”
