I need someone to explain to me why people think Kobe Bryant deserved MVP in 2006. He was on a 7th seed team and wasn’t even a top 4 MVP candidate in 2006 when the actual race went on, so how did he jump the line ahead of the other 3 players? How is history being revised to pretend Kobe was next in line to win MVP after Nash when 2 other people were ahead of him in real time?

“The Lakers would’ve been way worse without Kobe though!”

That same argument applies to every single other candidate. The Suns without Nash sucked. The Mavs without Dirk sucked. The Cavs without LeBron sucked. The Heat without Wade sucked. Why do y’all use this argument as if it didn’t also apply to the other candidates? It’s ridiculous. Just because he averaged 35 doesn’t mean he deserved MVP. Stop trying to revise history. 🎤

Kobe Bryant is considered one of the people who changed the modern basketball world and is always compared to the greatness of Michael Jordan.

Sports fans around the world, especially basketball, are still shocked by the news that legendary Kobe Bryant passed away in a plane crash on the morning of January 27.

Kobe Bryant has always been considered one of the greatest players in the American Professional Basketball League (NBA) in particular and the world basketball industry in general. Kobe is someone who is often used as a “counterweight” to compare with the legendary Michael Jordan.

Kobe Bryant is among the players who changed the face of the sport with the orange ball. The 41-year-old legend was born in Philadelphia, with father Joe Bryant who was also an NBA player. His father named him after the famous Japanese Kobe beef dish.

Kobe Bryant showed his passion for the orange ball when he started practicing basketball at the age of 3. The team that Kobe loved most was none other than the Los Angeles Lakers, where he later spent his entire professional career.

While in high school, Kobe showed that he was a genius at basketball. At the age of 17, Kobe is a rare player who went straight to playing professionally right after graduating from high school without going to college. In NBA history, only 6 players have done this.

Kobe Bryant was selected by the Charlotte Hornets in the 1996 NBA Draft, then he transferred directly to the Los Angeles Lakers according to a previous agreement. From there, Kobe Bryant began his path to making history with the yellow-purple team.

Kobe is considered one of the few players who symbolize loyalty and dedication as he spent all 20 years of professional football for only the Los Angeles Lakers.

It would take a long list to list all the records that the “Black Mamba” once held. Some records that can be mentioned are: Youngest player to play in an NBA match (18 years and 158 days), youngest player to play in an NBA All-Star (19 years and 169 days), player youngest to make the NBA All-Rookie and NBA All-Defensive teams…

In the Los Angeles Lakers shirt, Kobe won 5 NBA championships (especially a consecutive treble in the period 1999-2002) and 2 Olympic gold medals (2008 and 2012). The Lakers’ point guard is also a key card in the “triangle attack” strategy that helped Phil Jackson become one of the greatest coaches in NBA history.

Kobe Bryant is also one of the people who changed the face of modern basketball.  Since Kobe’s era, NBA teams have often had to switch to comprehensive defense to prevent 3-point shots, instead of focusing under the basket as before.

Besides, this player is known by the phrase “Mamba Mentality” – used to refer to the spirit of tenacity and never giving up. Last-minute scoring baskets are always known as Kobe’s “specialty” and often appear in sports news./.
