Some fans filed a lawsuit against Madonna for starting the concert too late, making them tired and affecting their quality of life the next morning.
According to sources from the New York Post, two men, Michael Fellows and Jonathan Hadden, filed a lawsuit against Madonna in Brooklyn Federal Court on the grounds that the concert started 2 hours later than what was previously advertised.
Specifically, according to these two men, tickets for the Celebration Tour concert on December 13, 2023 of the Material Girl star at the Barclays Center clearly state that the show will start at 8:30 p.m. However, at 10:45 p.m., the Queen of Pop took the stage.
Not only suing Madonna, these two fans also sued the organizers of Live Nation and the venue Barclays due to “unconscionable, unfair and deceptive commercial practices”. They claimed that the concert ended after 1 a.m., making them mentally tired. Next, fans claimed to have had to face restrictions on public transportation and high bus costs due to the concert ending too late.

“In addition, many people who buy tickets to attend the concert still have to wake up early to go to work or take care of family responsibilities the next morning,” the complaint states.
Immediately after the lawsuit was announced, many other fans also expressed their frustration. Some viewers said they were extremely disappointed by the “thoughtless” actions of the 65-year-old singer and her crew.
This is not the first time Madonna has made fans angry for being late. In 2019, after a delayed entrance onto the stage in Las Vegas, the pop star declared: “Here’s something you all need to understand, a Queen is never late.” . Madonna’s answer made all fans angry when they were not respected by their idol.
