So devoted to his character in the movie, Henry Cavill even took his performance costume home to wear “for fun” sometimes.
Just a few weeks after its release, the series “The Witcher” has been recognized as one of Netflix’s hits. To achieve that success, it is impossible not to mention the excellent acting as well as the “deadly” handsomeness of “Superman” Henry Cavill. Taking off his superhero costume, Henry made fans swoon with the ruggedness of the character witch hunter Geralt.
“The Witcher” producer Lauran Schmidt Hissrich revealed that it’s not uncommon to see the actor dressed as Geralt even when the cameras aren’t rolling. “Geralt is no longer a character to him,” she said. “He wants everything to be perfect, like the weapons have to look like they’ve been worn for years. He cooks in them, and he even sleeps in them. We all say he doesn’t have to wear them all the time, but he’s invested in getting the best out of his character.”
“The Witcher” is currently one of the hottest TV series on Netflix despite critics’ criticism. Although there is no filming schedule for part 2 yet, producer Hissrich revealed that with part 2, the film’s plot will be simpler and easier to understand.
