Liverpool players and staff hit the town to celebrate their Premier League title win after they finally lifted the trophy on Sunday.
Arne Slot‘s side won their second Premier League title weeks ago when they beat Tottenham at Anfield on April 27, but had to wait until the final day of the season to lift the trophy.
And they did just that at the weekend, with captain Virgil van Dijk carrying out the lift – before departing defender and vice captain Trent Alexander-Arnold got his hands on it.
The celebrations inside Anfield went on for around an hour, with the squad dancing on the pitch with their families before engaging in a rendition of You’ll Never Walk Alone with the home fans.
But the party didn’t stop there – after leaving the ground, they took to the streets and another venue to celebrate their success.
Footage and photos showed the likes of Cody Gakpo, Mohamed Salah and Slot pictured at the City Centre Hotel and Municipal Hotel as they partied until midnight.

The defender’s partner, Estelle Behnke, was also seen arriving, but was not pictured alongside her other half
Alexander-Arnold, who is set to move to Real Madrid on a free transfer in a matter of weeks, was in attendance, arriving in a Liverpool tracksuit with his hood up and dark glasses on, medal still around his neck.
His partner, Estelle Behnke, was also seen arriving alongside his brother, though the couple were not pictured together.
Slot was greeted by Liverpool fans as he walked down the street alongside wife Mirjam and son Joep, who have remained in the Netherlands during his first year at Anfield.
Elsewhere, the likes of Diogo Jota were mobbed by fans, while Salah sat in the back of a car, still in his champions shirt. Club legend Ian Rush was also in attendance.
Daniel Sturridge left Sky Sports duties to join the party too, decked out in a black suit. The former Reds forward was part of the squad that won the Champions League in 2019 but seemingly wanted to join in the league title celebration too.
He was spotted deep in conversation with one woman, before seemingly leaning forward to embrace with her in a hug.
It was Curtis Jones, however, who was seemingly the life of the party. The Liverpool-born midfielder was spotted on his phone in a red hoodie, showing his medal to the onlookers.
In a video shared to TikTok, meanwhile, he was seen to have taken to the microphone, with his cap to the side and entertaining the crowd.

Jarell Quansah laughed as he pulled up in the passenger seat of his car, still in his champions shirt from after the game
Another video saw Cody Gakpo dancing inside the Municipal Hotel on Dale Street in Liverpool – the forward still wearing his shades.
Elsewhere, Kostas Tsimikas sat on a car outside also in his shades, while Jarell Quansah left in the front seat of a car, showing off his medal, and Alisson also pulled up.
The focus of the night, however, was on Alexander-Arnold. The England defender failed to hold it together during the celebrations, first breaking down during the rendition of You’ll Never Walk Alone.
He then sat along on the pitch, before crying more as he embraced his family. It was a far cry from the boos he received when he was substituted on against Arsenal, and Slot thanked the fans for sticking together.
Slot said: ‘It went brilliant when our fans are together. I don’t think you see many celebrations like we had them today. It’s no surprise to me that the fans were brilliant again today as they were throughout the whole season, as they were towards Trent.
‘He deserved it. I am very happy for him and everyone in and around the club that things worked out the way they did.
‘Everybody could see how difficult he had it after the game. That tells you how hard it is to leave a club like this. That’s all we can try to do, to make it so hard for the players to leave.
‘Many of them stay. Trent made a decision to go, unfortunately for us. But it was great for him to have a farewell as he had today.’

Alexander-Arnold cut an emotional figure at Anfield after playing his final game for the club
Alexander-Arnold himself said: ‘I’ve played hundreds of games for the club but I’ve never felt so loved and cared for than today.
‘Hand on my heart I hope one day the fans will be able to recognise the hard work and everything I have done for the team.
‘There wasn’t a day, minute, second that I didn’t think about the team. Twenty years is a very long time time but I’ve loved every single minute of it. The ups and the downs.
‘It’s been an honour and privilege to be part of.
‘I’ll remember this day. It’s very special for me. It goes down as the best day of my life.’
