LIVE FROM SPANISH MEDIA – REAL MADRID STAR REGRETS MOVE, DEMANDS RETURN TO LIVERPOOL.

Live from Spanish media, real Madrid star set to leave Santiago bernabeu After just few months joining the club. He said, “I won’t lie I miss Liverpool, and I deeply regret leaving. But let’s be honest, it was all because of him. Now it’s dawned on me I should never have walked away just because of one player. I see my mistake clearly, and I know the fans probably hate me for it. But I’ve already told Real Madrid I want to return to the place where I truly belong. I don’t even care if I don’t receive a single salary from Madrid until January because my heart is set on going back to Anfield.”

Adam Wharton has been linked with a move to Liverpool for some time and now a report in Spain has claimed that the Reds and Real Madrid are both interested in the Crystal Palace midfielder

Real Madrid is reportedly considering a swoop for Liverpool target Adam Wharton.

The Reds have been consistently linked with the Crystal Palace midfielder since his impressive Premier League displays following his switch from Blackburn Rovers. The 21-year-old has since featured in 46 matches for the Eagles and was instrumental in their FA Cup triumph last season, delivering a crucial performance in the Wembley final victory against Manchester City. It comes after he dropped a subtle gesture on live TV.

A fresh report from Spain now suggests that both Real Madrid and Liverpool are among four clubs vying for the England international’s signature.

AS, via Sport Witness, indicates that Wharton – who graces today’s front page – has also caught the attention of Manchester City and Manchester United alongside Los Blancos and the Merseyside outfit.

The Spanish publication suggests that Real Madrid is seeking midfield reinforcements after losing Toni Kroos and Luka Modric. However, they would need to secure a significant departure this window before pursuing the 21-year-old.

The report further states that Palace would demand no less than £70M ($94.7M) for its midfielder – the identical fee Arsenal is expected to pay for Eberechi Eze.

After Palace’s 1-0 FA Cup final triumph over City in May, former Manchester United skipper Roy Keane lauded the ex-Blackburn star.

“He’s a classy little player, he always looks like he knows what he’s doing. Very classy,” he commented. “Played well in the semifinal, I know he’s been linked with bigger clubs, I like everything about him.

“There’s parts he still needs to improve on, but if he’s given time, really nice and tidy.”

Wharton still has four years left on his contract, which he signed when he transferred from Ewood Park to Selhurst Park for an undisclosed fee last year.
