Singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey has announced that she will release her new album “The Right Person Will Stay” on May 21, 2025. The album includes 13 new songs, produced with familiar collaborators such as Jack Antonoff, Drew Erickson and Australian artist Luke Howard – who previously collaborated with her on the project Lost at Sea.
Lana shared on her personal Instagram: “The right person will stay” released on May 21. So grateful to have completed my 13 songs with collaborations with Luke, Jack, Drew Erickson and many more. Looking forward to listening to a few songs before Stagecoach begins, opening with “Henry”.
This album marks Lana Del Rey’s return to the music scene since her ninth studio album, “Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd”, which was released in March 2023. “Ocean Blvd” received critical acclaim, with its blend of baroque pop and alternative, helping to define Del Rey’s signature lyrical style. The album reached the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart and featured songs like “A&W” and “Let The Light In”.
Since her debut with the album “Born to Die” (2012), Lana Del Rey has conquered audiences with outstanding works such as “Ultraviolence” (2014), “Honeymoon” (2015), and especially “Norman F***ing Rockwell!” (2019) – one of the best albums of the decade, nominated for Grammy Album of the Year. Music critic site Pitchfork gave very high scores to Lana’s products, such as “Norman F***ing Rockwell!” (9.4/10), “Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd” (8.3/10), and “Lust For Life” (7.7/10).
Lana Del Rey’s music is not only notable for its sales but also for its unique artistry. Her songs are poetic, deeply exploring themes such as love, loneliness and the struggles of modern life. Her distinctive music and haunting lyrics have brought Lana many prestigious awards such as BRIT Awards, MTV Europe Music Awards, and a series of Grammy nominations.
In addition to the new album, Del Rey will embark on a stadium tour of the UK and Ireland in 2025, with headliners including Hampden Park (Glasgow), Aviva Stadium (Dublin), Wembley Stadium (London), and Anfield (Liverpool). This is her first major tour since her Coachella appearance in April this year as the Headliner, delivering a powerful performance of “Ocean Blvd” and other hits.
Lana Del Rey continues to affirm her position as one of the most unique and influential artists of the decade. “The Right Person Will Stay” promises to bring fans emotional and new musical experiences.
