Kanye West mentions Taylor Swift in his new song “Carnival” with rude words.
According to Variety, the rapper’s new song is included in the album Vultures 1, released on February 10. Kanye West uses sexual lyrics and repeatedly mentions lovemaking. In one sentence, West wrote: “I made six Taylor Swifts.” In the song, the rapper also mocks the Me Too movement, comparing himself to R. Kelly, Bill Cosby and Puff Daddy, who have all been accused of sexual assault.
West’s actions upset many Taylor Swift fans. On X, they simultaneously posted articles opposing the rapper and defending their idols.
The disagreement between Taylor Swift and Kanye West began in 2009, when the rapper grabbed the microphone and ruined the singer’s acceptance speech at the VMAs, because he thought Beyonce was more deserving.

In the song Famous (2016), Kanye writes about Taylor Swift: “I feel like me and Taylor could have sex. Why? Because I made that bitch famous.” The rapper said Taylor agreed with the lyrics but she denied it.
After that, Kim Kardashian – West’s wife at that time – released a video of a 25-minute conversation between the two artists. In the video, the rapper discusses the lyrics with Taylor but does not mention the phrase “bitch”. She was happy to hear the verse and thought it was not offensive, saying Kanye should send the finished song for consideration. The lyrics about her in Famous when released were different from the content the two discussed, making Taylor upset.
The singer said Kim illegally recorded the conversation. In California, it is illegal to record or eavesdrop without the consent of the participants in a conversation. According to Taylor, the recording was edited and staged by Kim, turning her into a liar. After the incident, for a while the media and audiences criticized Taylor as a snake, implying a sinister personality. In 2017, Taylor Swift released the MV Look What You Made Me Do, which is said to be a response to West and Kardashian.
In an interview with Time when she was selected as Person of the Year 2023, Taylor Swift recalled the dark time after being ostracized and called a viper because of Kim’s recording: “My career was taken away I have never been so depressed. I moved to another country, didn’t leave my rented house for a year, and was afraid to talk on the phone. I shunned most people because I no longer trusted anyone. “.
Taylor added that after many years, she learned the lesson: “There’s no point in trying to defeat the enemy. Garbage always eliminates itself.”
Kanye West, 48 years old, is a famous but scandalous rapper in the American entertainment industry. He received 24 Grammy awards in his career. Besides music, Kanye West is also active in the fashion industry. The rapper is Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband (2014-2022). West ran for president in 2020.
Taylor Swift, 35 years old, is an American singer-songwriter, who rose to fame with country music in 2006. After 10 albums, Swift received 14 Grammy awards and 29 Billboard awards. Besides performing tours, she released re-recorded albums such as Fearless, Red, 1989. Currently, the Eras Tour “sweeps” the world, helping her become a billionaire.
