The Kansas City Chiefs’ wild offseason is showing no signs of slowing down, as one of their players has been arrested for the second time amid the break.
ProFootballTalk has confirmed that Chiefs defensive end Isaiah Buggs has been arrested and is facing charges of second-degree domestic violence and burglary. Their report follows the Tuscaloosa Patch’s Ryan Phillips tweeting as much along with a mugshot photo.
“Tuscaloosa County Jail records show former Tide defensive lineman and Kansas City Chief Isaiah Buggs was arrested for burglary on Sunday,” Phillips noted.
“PFT has confirmed that defensive lineman Isaiah Buggs has been arrested, again,” ProFootballTalk has also reported. “This time, he’s charged with domestic violence/burglary. (Ryan Phillips of Tuscaloosa Patch had it first, as best we can tell.)
“Court records show a $5,000 bond. It’s not clear whether he has been released from custody.”

The Kansas City Chiefs DE Had Already Been Arrested This Offseason
As mentioned above, Isaiah Buggs has already had a brush with the law this offseason.
The defensive player was charged with misdemeanors in an animal cruelty case last month. His attorney declared that the charges were part of a harassment campaign as authorities are trying to force Buggs to shut down a hookah lounge he owns in Tuscaloosa.
Buggs was drafted out of the sixth round by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2019. He had stints with the Las Vegas Raiders and Detroit Lions before signing for the Chiefs practice squad in January and going on to earn a Super Bowl ring.
He has since been signed to their 90-man roster.
