Jon Bon Jovi holds many titles to his name. Now, an auditorium in New Jersey has his.

The “Livin’ on a Prayer” rocker, 62, returned to Parlin, N.J., to visit his alma mater, Sayreville War Memorial High School, for the dedication ceremony of the newly renamed Jon Bon Jovi Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, Oct. 1.

According to ABC 7, the Bon Jovi frontman attended the school for his junior and senior years after completing his first two years at St. Joseph High School in Metuchen.

“So humbled that Sayreville High named their performing arts center yesterday,” wrote Bon Jovi next to an Instagram carousel on Wednesday, Oct. 2.

The post began with a photo of him in front of the auditorium, followed by a photo of him posing with students in front of a mural painted in his honor. The third photo showed him and “Coach T,” who is referenced in his song “Just Older.”

“It was great to see him and the future of Sayreville …Once a Bomber always a Bomber …,” Bon Jovi, who is now officially inducted into the school’s hall of fame, wrote at the end of his post.

Sayreville War Memorial High School posted on Instagram that its music suite has also been renamed the Jon Bon Jovi Music Suite.

“In honor of his induction into the high school’s Hall of Fame class, Bon Jovi donated a brand new, state of the art, recording studio to the HS performing arts department and well as a commemorative t-shirt,” the post explains.

“We are so grateful for his donations and the students and staff will remember this day forever,” the school added, noting that the singer “was also gracious enough to participate in a question and answer segment with our students, and take pictures and sign autographs.”

While speaking with students, the singer reminded them that “you are writing the story of your life,” reports My Central Jersey.

“You sit here today as the future of Sayreville’s dreamers, participating in theater, music, voice and as recording engineers. Now some of you may choose to continue on this path after graduation. Others may consider this a stepping stone,” he said, per the outlet.

Whatever you choose to do after you leave here, remember that every day is another opportunity to make a memory,” continued Bon Jovi.

Bon Jovi’s band released their latest album, Forever, in June.
