Jon Bon Jovi is celebrating the love of his life!

The Bon Jovi frontman, 63, shared a sweet tribute to his longtime love, Dorothea Hurley, via Instagram on Tuesday, April 29, as the couple marked their 36th wedding anniversary.

“36 roses for 36 amazing years. Happy anniversary my love….,” Bon Jovi captioned a series of snaps, including a picture of a bouquet of red roses.

The “It’s My Life” singer also shared a throwback photo from his wedding day back in 1989. The picture shows Hurley, 62, in a shoulderless white dress and matching gloves, leaning against the rocker, who is seen in a light blue suit.

Bon Jovi capped off the trip down memory lane with a picture of the Graceland Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, where he and Hurley married in 1989. “Rock star Jon Bon Jovi was married here,” reads a sign outside the chapel.

In an interview with People last year to mark his 35th wedding anniversary, Bon Jovi shared how he and Hurley made the snap decision to get married while his band was on tour.

“We were in Los Angeles, California, the band was on the road on the New Jersey tour, and if you opened up the curtains of my hotel room, there’s a big billboard of the five of us [Bon Jovi band members] staring into my window,” Bon Jovi recalled. “My girlfriend, who was my fiancée at the time, we had a night off, and I said, ‘I need a higher high — I got an idea. Let’s go to Vegas now.’ And she said, ‘Now?’ I said, ‘Now.’”

“It shocked a lot of people — shocked about everybody: the band, management, agents, lawyers, parents, you name it,” Bon Jovi said. “It’s a shame because it should have been a beautiful moment, but after we did it, people were trying to take it away, until I stood up and went, ‘Wait a minute, why are we living our life for anyone else?’ And 35 years later, we’re still married.”

Since tying the knot, Bon Jovi and Hurley have welcomed four children: Stephanie, 31, Jesse, 30, Jake, 22, and Romeo, 21. Last year, Jake wed Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown.

Brown, 21, opened up about her close relationship with her famous father-in-law during an interview on the “SmartLess” podcast in March.

“When I need him, he is very much there for me in the best ways, always making sure I’m OK,” Brown said. “If there’s anything that’s ever going on, I’m always like, ‘Can you help me out in this situation?’ And he’s so informative. His wisdom is ridiculous.”
