John Legend is overjoyed as baby Esti says ‘Dada’ in a sweet video shared by wife Chrissy Teigen

Esti, seven months, who is the second youngest of the couple’s four children, seemed to be trying to sit up on the sofa and was babbling a little bit, saying what sounded like ‘duh duh.’

John then asked Esti ‘what’s  my name? What’s my name?’

 

Chrissy Teigen joined in, offering a little bit of help, asking ‘What’s daddy’s name? Dada?’

A smiling Esti, who looked adorable in a beige onesie with a gray and white bib answered what sounded like ‘Dada’ right on cue.

The All of Me singer said ‘We got it on tape,’ and then turning the camera to himself said again, ‘caught on tape.’

The excitement was a little too much for Esti, who began crying right after.

Writing about the milestone on social media, Chrissy quipped: ‘Listen I think every mom here knows she said “duh duh” and was on her way to a third “duh” before we interrupted her but John was so excited so we have all agreed to let him have this one!’

‘Real ones know mama is way harder to form so congrats baby, happy for u!!! (He scared her with his excitement, I can assure you she has fully recovered and there is no need to worry, thank u!!)’

John commented on the post, and alleged that Esti is even more advanced saying, ‘I swear she said “John Roger Stephens.”’

The All of Me singer shared the video on his Instagram page as well declaring, ‘DADA! Then I got too excited and scared her.’

The comments section of both accounts were was filled with lots of hearts and comments of ‘aw.’

The video showed little brother Wren, who will turn two months Saturday, resting comfortably in little brown onesie in Chrissy’s lap while the model stroked his back.

The family will grace the cover of the September issue of Architectural Digest.

The influencer shared the a snap of the issue with her fans explaining, ‘so proud and honored to be their first GLOBAL cover for September!! Thank you for letting us live in your beautiful creation’ crediting interior designer Jake Arnold.

The designer shared the cover as well and thanked the Hollywood couple for the opportunity.

‘Working on your home was a privilege and one of my greatest career moments,’ he said.’To know you is to love you, thank you for this incredible experience and for your generosity always.’
