John Legend is performing a private concert for his 10-month-old daughter, Esti Maxine.
On Wednesday, the “Love Me Now” singer, 44, and his wife Chrissy Teigen both shared a video of him singing to their third child. But the song in question wasn’t one of his own hits, rather a rendition of toy company Fisher Price’s song, “The Purple Monkey in a Bubblegum Tree.” The tune is played by one of the brand’s play mats which presumably the Legend family own.
In the video, Legend is sitting by the piano as he sings to his daughter, who is being carried by Teigen, 37.
“Maybe you could be, a purple monkey in a bubblegum tree and you could swing in the breeze, then you could swing back to me,” Legend began as little Esti looked on while kicking her legs in delight.

“Just me over here covering Esti’s play mat bops,” Legend wrote in his caption.
Teigen also shared the video on her Instagram page, writing, “If you know, you know!”
As well as Esti, Legend and Teigen share daughter Luna Simone, 7, son Miles Theodore, 5, and son Wren Alexander, 5 months, who was born via surrogate in June.

The musician recently opened up about his youngest two children and their closeness in age.
“They’re sort of like twins,” he said earlier this month. “It kind of feels like that, but not.”
Of Esti, he added, “She’s really getting close to walking, which is pretty early. She’s crawling and standing herself up already and leaning on the table. She pulls herself up and it feels like she’s getting really close. She’d be one of the earliest ones of our kids [to walk] if she does.”
Meanwhile, Esti’s baby brother Wren was named PEOPLE’s 2023 Cutest Baby earlier this month.
Speaking of his son, proud father Legend said that Wren “lights up the room” and “smiles so much.”
