Jon Bon Jovi’s eldest son, Jesse Bongiovi and longtime girlfriend Jesse Light are married!

The Hampton Water co-founder, 29, and the reality TV producer said “I do” in Las Vegas on May 7 at the same chapel where his parents, Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Bongiovi eloped in 1989.

Bongiovi and Light first connected in 2018 at the deck of Surf Lodge in Montauk, N.Y.  — which is also where Bongiovi popped the question two years ago.

The pair revealed the happy news of their engagement in separate Instagram posts in August 2022. Both posts included images of Bongiovi down on one knee in front of Light while surrounded by oversized, lush, white floral bouquets.

“⚠️Time to BeReal⚠️” he jokingly captioned the post.

Light also shared photos of the couple embracing, as well as photos of her engagement ring. “happily ever after,” she captioned the post.

Light shared snapshots of her bachelorette party in March 2024. The TV producer shared photos of her group trip to Disney World, where she rocked Minnie Mouse ears that had a short veil, indicating she was celebrating her impending nuptials.

Along with celebrating their pre-wedding festivities on social media, the couple has celebrated one another’s career achievements with cheeky Instagram posts. In one update from Bongiovi, he shared an image of him wearing a pair of “Mrs. Bongiovi” embossed sunglasses and a T-shirt with Light’s photo from her Forbes 30 Under 30 selection.

Meanwhile, Light has shared casual glimpses celebrating Bongiovi’s Hampton Water company, including a sweet photo of her posing on an inflatable bouncer with the alcohol company’s logo. (Bongiovi launched the rosé company with his father in April 2018.)

“When you’re in a band, you always say it’s like a family. But when you’re really working with your family, it’s totally different,” Jon Bon Jovi told PEOPLE of working with his son in 2018. “We walk into meetings together and I go, ‘Wow, it’s Mini-Me.’ He’s thinking the way I’m thinking. It’s been a dream… Jesse has always been very serious about everything he’s ever done.”

Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea are also parents to daughter Stephanie, 30, and sons Jake, 21, and Romeo, 20.

“Growing together is wise. I think that all of my kids have found people that they think they can grow together with and we like them all,” the singer said during a chat with Andy Cohen’s on Radio Andy in April.

The Grammy winner, recently recounted the couple’s love story in his new Hulu docuseries, Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story (streaming now).

“We were in Los Angeles, California, the band was on the road on the New Jersey tour, and if you opened up the curtains of my hotel room, there’s a big billboard of the five of us [Bon Jovi band members] staring into my window,” Bon Jovi recalls. “My girlfriend, who was my fiancée at the time, we had a night off, and I said, ‘I need a higher high — I got an idea. Let’s go to Vegas now.’ And she said, ‘Now?’ I said, ‘Now.’”

Once the news went public, “it shocked a lot of people — shocked about everybody: the band, management, agents, lawyers, parents, you name it,’” Bon Jovi recalls. “It’s a shame because it should have been a beautiful moment, but after we did it, people were trying to take it away, until I stood up and went, ‘Wait a minute, why are we living our life for anyone else?’ And 35 years later, we’re still married.”

Looking back, “we got it right the first time,“ he said
