“When he did the ‘Wakanda Forever’ performance everybody fell asleep”—Sneako declares Drake is better than Kendrick Lamar after the Super Bowl show
Less than hours after Kendrick Lamar performed the Super Bowl halftime show in New Orleans today, Sneako declared Drake the “better” artist of the two.
The American media personality posted a three-minute video to X on February 10 of himself complaining about why he thinks “Drake is better than Kendrick Lamar.” He defended his claim by claiming that during Kendrick’s performance, no one knew any of his lyrics except for a few words from his diss track Not Like Us.
“When he played Wakanda Forever, everyone fell asleep,” he said in the video.
Sneako Slams Kendrick Lamar for Allegedly Trying to Stage a BLM Protest as a Performance
Sneako began by saying that he was glad no one had to “pretend” that Kendrick Lamar was better than Drake anymore. He noted that while he doesn’t care about football, he only watches the halftime show to “see the cultural shift happen.”
“The only lyric the crowd knew from all of Kendrick’s discography was ‘A minor,’” he said.
“People have never been more tired of this hypocrisy. Ten years ago, a Superbowl halftime show with George Floyd’s emotions would have gotten a standing ovation, because people still didn’t know what white guilt was. But in America today, no one wants to see a performance that is on par with the BLM protests, they want a dance.”
He also mentioned the moment when the big screen showed “America’s favorite sweetheart,” Taylor Swift, in the crowd, and started booing her. According to him, the two situations were “similar.”
“This is a clear sign of a cultural shift that is happening. Because at the beginning, the invention of social media rewarded people for pretending to be good people. Hypocrisy is so widely supported, you can make a successful career out of dead black panthers.”
He went on to say that everyone in the country is tired of hypocrisy and is seeing through the smoke and mirrors.
In the rest of the video, Sneako also reflects on Kanye West’s account disappearing from X once again, and he calls on the platform’s owner, Elon Musk, to do the same. Ye has made a series of harsh comments and remarks in support of anti-Semitism over the past few days, and as of today, his account has been disabled.
However, Sneako claims that Ye has not broken any laws and that finding someone who can express themselves without fear of being canceled is extremely unique, calling him “completely authentic.”
