The Instagram star is aware that she cannot change some people’s sexist assumptions that she is just a pretty face who does not have a legit golf game and a deep love for the sport. The best thing she could do is prove just how ridiculous those assumptions are with a hilarious video.

In the Instagram reel, Paige acts like someone who really doesn’t know about the sport. She plays the role of a damsel in distress, struggling to tee up the ball and make contact with her driver, before celebrating a shot that went “10 whole yards!”

The performance, which her fans compared to Mickey Mouse and Marilyn Monroe in the comments, was captioned “How people think I play lol.”

It was a clever way to prove the point that the perception of her as a social media influencer with no golf knowledge could not be further from the truth.

Whether it is through groundbreaking partnerships, breaking stereotypes or dismantling the strict  dress codes of the golf course, Spiranac has proven time and time again that even if people find her because of her appearance, she has far more to offer to the sport.
