The world’s richest man, Elon Musk has volunteered to be 1 of the 100 to fîght à Gorilla with Bare Hands and he’s looking for 99 other men to join him
Elon Musk has shocked fans by responding to MrBeast’s 100 men vs. one gorilla challenge.
The internet has gone wild this week over whether 100 men would win in a fight against one gorilla.
People on social media have been divided on the matter ever since the question was posed on X, formerly Twitter, with the original poster believing that the men would win if they are ‘dedicated to the s***’.
Now, even the world’s richest man has weighed in on it, jokingly offering to take part in a real life fight.
It has become a running joke that the challenge would take place on MrBeast’s YouTube channel.
The YouTuber, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is known for his over-the-top and extreme challenges such as ‘100 Boys vs 100 Girls For $500,000’ and ‘100 Identical Twins Fight For $250,000’.
So, it seems only right that this hypothetical fight between 100 men and one gorilla should happen there.
Spotting the trend, Donaldson said: “Need 100 men to test this, any volunteers?”
And just when you think things couldn’t get any more bizarre, Musk signed up for the challenge, replying: “Sure, what’s the worst that could happen?”
It has long been joked since 2022 that Donaldson will be the one to eventually inherit X from Musk and, if a fight to the death against a gorilla were to ever go ahead, it seems like he actually might end up with the social media platform.
In response to Musk’s offer, Donaldson joked: “I might actually own this platform soon.”

Many users took to X to share their own reactions to the unexpected interaction.
One person wrote: “If you happen to secure this platform, please let us post about science & public health again. Scientists on this app have been in a corner, soft shadow-banned & talking to ourselves, for the last 3 years. And then we wonder why male humans think they can fight a gorilla.”
Another said: “You can’t sick a gorilla on Musk, film it, monetize it, and take his platform… or can you?”
And a third user joked: “Just as a backup if you die under mysterious circumstances can then I have Twitter?”
Of course, the actual logistics of organizing 100 men to fight it out against one gorilla sounds highly implausible and illegal.
That being said, with Musk’s enormous wealth of money, if anyone can make it happen, it’s him.
