The footballing legend was asked about his experience with fame and whether Travis Kelce is in for a tough time amid his relationship with Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift
David Beckham has been asked whether Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce can handle the Taylor Swift-level of fame he is stumbling into.
Kelce started dating Swift last year, and while he was already a superstar in the NFL world, having two Super Bowl rings to his name at the time, since adding a third, his fame has reached new heights, which is ironically the name of his podcast.

Swift’s fans the ‘Swifties’ have become obsessed with the relationship the pop superstar has with Kelce, and tabloids follow both almost everywhere they go.
Soccer legend and part-owner of Inter Miami Beckham knows a thing or two about getting that sort of treatment from the press, and that prompted Jimmy Kimmel to ask the former Real Madrid star whether Kelce can handle his new-found super fame.
Kimmel asked on his show: “Do you ever talk to, like, Travis Kelce and say, ‘Hey, man, here’s what you have to expect’?”
Beckham responded by saying Kelce “can handle it.” He added: “We know Taylor can definitely handle it.”
Beckham’s trouble with fame
During his recent Netflix documentary, Beckham opened up on his struggles adjusting to fame earlier in his career and particularly when he moved to the US. Asked about that on the Jimmy Kimmel show, he said: “I think that surprised a lot of people. Through that time, it was difficult.”
He added: “Recently, we were in a pub in London, and I came out and on the windscreen on my car was a note, no name on it, just, ‘We’re so sorry for the way we treated you’. I liked that.”
