A few months after welcoming a baby girl, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s fourth child joined the family. Chrissy Teigen’s baby arrived on June 19 via surrogate. However, it wasn’t until a few hours ago that the Cravings cookbook author made the news public. The 37-year-old detailed the journey in a social media post, including how she witnessed the amazing birth. Since the post was shared, it has received over a million likes and 19,000 comments. Netizens couldn’t be more thrilled for the couple about the next phase they have entered.

 

Teigen and Legend’s Fourth Child Has Arrived

 

Instagram users erupted with joy over the news of Teigen and Legend’s fourth child. The mom of four confirmed the news in a lengthy post, revealing that the child, Wren Alexander Stephens, arrived through surrogacy. Teigen took time to detail the experiences leading up to Wren’s arrival. She began by noting that for the longest time, she had always wanted to have four kids. However, everything changed in 2020 when Teigen suffered a pregnancy loss.

The television personality said she didn’t think she could carry more kids. So, Teigen and Legend reached out to a surrogacy agency to begin their journey. Teigen said she decided to try again and eventually let things be if it didn’t work out. So, they restarted the IVF process, and thankfully, it worked. Shortly after Teigen became pregnant, she and Legend met Alexandra, “the most incredible, loving, and compassionate surrogate” they could ever imagine.

After two attempts at implanting the embryo, Alexandra finally became pregnant. The following months were amazing for the ladies as they bonded with each other. Finally, on June 19, Chrissy Teigen’s surrogate baby joined the family. The proud mom thanked Alexandra for the “incredible gift.” Teigen concluded the post with pictures of her kissing the surrogate’s baby bump and she and Legend cradling their newborn.

 

Teigen and Legend Have Three Other Kids

The news of Teigen and Legend’s fourth child comes five months after the couple welcomed baby number three, Esti. The baby girl arrived on January 13, and Legend confirmed the news to his audience at a private concert. The All of Me crooner told the crowd that even though he didn’t get much sleep, he felt energized after spending his day with Teigen at the hospital. Shortly after the revelation, concertgoers took to social media to relay the good news. Besides Esti and Chrissy Teigen’s surrogate baby, the couple shares two children, Luna and Miles. With the newest family addition, Teigen and Legend are thrilled about what the future holds.
