Candiace Dillard has a hunch that Beyoncé is secretly taking style cues from her “Real Housewives of Potomac” castmate Karen Huger.
“OK, so Beyoncé, if you’re watching, we’re not mad if you were channeling Karen Huger,” the “Drive Back” singer, 37, recently told Page Six Style while prepping for a Lakers game performance in Los Angeles.
Dillard feels like the 42-year-old superstar’s Western-inspired, sparkling checkered Louis Vuitton ensemble — which she accessorized with a white cowboy hat — at the 2024 Grammys was a not-so-subtle nod to Huger’s sartorial taste.

“I want you to know that when I saw you at the Grammys sitting in your Louis Vuitton Western frock — it was very cute — I saw Karen Huger,” she says, addressing Beyoncé directly, also emphasizing that her pin-straight blond mane mirrored a hairstyle often worn by Huger on “RHOP.”
“It was very much, like, giving, platinum Karen and I loved it.”
Viewers also picked up on the similarities, which they fervidly pointed out via X (formerly Twitter).

“Why is Beyonce looking like Karen huger right now? #GRAMMYs2024 #Grammys,” one person wrote, while another added, “I cannot not unsee Karen Huger when looking at Beyoncé’s Grammys look.”
Another individual wondered if the two women were related, given their uncanny resemblance.

“I swear Karen Huger is related to Beyonce lol like everytime I see her at the Grammys I think Karen pulled up lol,” they wrote.
Huger, 60, for her part, has made it no secret that she is a fan of Beyoncé’s wardrobe. In 2020’s Season 5, she wore a bright pink power suit with a matching wide-brimmed hat that exuded major Queen Bey energy — namely, the aesthetic she employed during her Formation World Tour in 2016.
Dillard, for her part, suspects that Beyoncé is a fan of the “Housewives” franchise — but believes she started tuning in well before Huger’s fashion tribute.

“Season 3, we were in France and Ashley referred to Karen as a ‘broke Tina Knowles,’” she elaborates, recalling the dig Darby, 35, made at the expense of both Huger and Beyoncé’s now-70-year-old mom.
“So I feel like that was maybe the introduction to the Knowles-Carter family. Maybe Beyoncé, like, her ears perked up then.”

Dillard suggests that further evidence of Beyoncé being a Bravo-holic lies in the lyrics of her 2016 hit “Formation,” during which the former Destiny’s Child frontwoman croons, “I twirl on them haters.”
“Kenya [Moore]’s iconic for the twirl,” Dillard says, acknowledging the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” stalwart’s favorite word that she repeatedly chants in her 2012 single, “Gone With the Wind Fabulous.”
