Henry Cavill – the actor voted as the Most Handsome Man in the World in 2022 – was surprised when he met singer Shakira on the red carpet 9 years ago.

 Man of Steel actor Henry Cavill has been caught up in rumors of secretly having a crush on the Colombian singer since 2015 when he expressed his excitement when he saw her on the red carpet at the premiere of the movie  The Man from UNCLE while giving an interview. , Henry is distracted by Shakira’s appearance. He looked around for a while then asked the reporter: “Is that Shakira?”.

At a conversation with a Latin TV channel to promote the new movie The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare this week, the 40-year-old actor was asked about Shakira. He smiled and replied, “Of course I’m a fan of Shakira. When I was growing up, Shakira was a famous singer. Her music was played all over the radio and clubs.”

Shakira is 7 years older than Henry Cavill. When the actor met Shakira on the red carpet in 2015, she was dating Spanish soccer player Gerard Piqué. In 2022, Shakira broke up with Piqué after more than 10 years of marriage and having two children together. She returned to the US to settle down and was recently entangled in romance rumors with British actor Lucien Laviscount – her co-star in the new MV.

Meanwhile, Henry Cavill is in love with beautiful Natalie Viscuso – CEO of a Hollywood film studio. The actor announced his relationship with Natalie in April 2021 on Instagram, describing his girlfriend as a “talented and beautiful” woman.
