Angel Reese, the emerging star of the Chicago Sky, has voiced her wish for NBA legend Michael Jordan to attend one of her upcoming WNBA games.

“I want Michael Jordan to come to a game,” Reese expressed to WGN’s Kaitlin Sharkey. “I’ve never met him. That’s the only person I really want to come to a game.”

Jordan, a Chicago icon renowned for his illustrious career with the Bulls, maintains residences in various locations including Highland Park, Illinois, and Jupiter, Florida. Despite not residing full-time in Chicago, his legacy and influence remain deeply rooted in the city where he achieved basketball greatness.

Reese, making her mark in the WNBA, showcased her talent during her debut on May 3, delivering an impressive performance despite the Chicago Sky’s preseason loss to the Minnesota Lynx. She scored 13 points, grabbed 9 rebounds, and demonstrated defensive prowess with 2 steals and 1 block. Her impactful play has garnered attention, including a viral video of her assist to teammate Kamilla Cardoso.

While Reese desires Jordan’s presence at her games, she made headlines earlier by signing a multi-year endorsement deal with Reebok over other prominent brands like Nike and Jordan Brand. In explaining her decision, Reese highlighted Reebok’s commitment to allowing her creative input and desire to represent women’s basketball within the brand.

Jordan, a six-time NBA champion with the Bulls and former owner of the Charlotte Hornets, remains a prominent figure in sports culture, continuing to inspire athletes across generations.
