Julien’s Auctions said Sunday that an auction of more than 800 dresses, shoes, jewelry and accessories worn by Amy Winehouse on stage, in photo shoots and at various public events raised $4 million.
The top-selling dress at the event was the one Amy Winehouse wore to her final performance in Belgrade during her 2011 Summer Festival Tour.
The dress sold for $243,200. Organizers said the dress sold for 16 times its estimated price of $15,000. The dress was described as a “bespoke strapless mini dress designed by Winehouse’s stylist and designer Naomi Parry, featuring a bamboo and floral motif on silk”.

Another hot item was the custom Moschino red leather heart clutch worn by Winehouse at the 2007 Brit Awards. The clutch sold for $204,800, 13 times its presale estimate of $15,000.
Other Amy memorabilia up for auction included a yellow D&G lamé dress ($150,000), a black Temperly London jumpsuit worn at the 2008 Sunday Times portrait session and the 46664 Concert performance honoring Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday in Hyde Park, London ($121,600), a dress she wore (sold for $11,250) and Christian Louboutin heels she wore to the same performance and to her father’s 60th birthday party at Trent Park Golf Course in November 2009…
Winehouse died on 23 July 2011 at the age of 27 from alcohol poisoning.
