(TNO) The Associated Press reported on March 29 that the entire estate of singer Amy Winehouse after her death on July 23, 2011, which was 2.94 million pounds (4.66 million USD), will belong to her biological parents.
According to AP, property statistics show that Amy Winehouse left behind a total of more than 4.25 million pounds (about 6.7 million USD). After deducting debts and taxes, the remaining estate is 2.94 million pounds (4.66 million USD).
Amy Winehouse was found dead in her bed at her home in London (UK) on July 23 last year. She did not leave a will, so her entire estate goes to her biological parents.
Her ex-husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, will not receive anything from the estate. The two divorced in 2009.
