Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace has paid a rare and moving tribute to her close friend Amy Winehouse, admitting she’s not been able to listen to the late star’s music until recently.
The glamour model took to Twitter today to reveal she’s finally able to play Amy’s songs again, as she shared a screenshot of Tears Dry On Their Own being played.
It was one of the singer’s most memorable songs, and no doubt difficult for Aisleyne to hear after losing her friend in 2011.
She wrote: “My baby girl… Only recently able to listen to her again.”
Following news of her death, Celebrity Big Brother star Aisleyne was photographed in floods of tears outside the Camden mansion where the singer’s body was found.
Speaking about Amy the same year, Aislyene said the pair had been friends for three years before the 27 year-old passed away and she was struggling to deal with her death.

“I went to her flat and drank tea and she told me how happy she was with Reg,” she said.
“I can’t believe she has gone. It is so heartbreaking because Amy had done the impossible, she had dealt with her addiction, admitted she had a problem and I believe she was clean before she died.”

Since then the star hasn’t made much mention of her relationship with the multi-award winning singer, only breaking her silence earlier this year, but otherwise keeping her grief private.
However, Amy’s father Mitch Winehouse previously hit out at the reality TV star, saying she was never a real friend of his daughter.
