Adele has reportedly joined the race, alongside Taylor Swift, for the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show in February next year. According to a recent report, the “Hello” hit maker has been approached to play the gig; however, no official booking has yet taken place. Both singers’ names are rumored to be on the candidates’ list.
The buzz is Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift are also possible headliners
Adele has reportedly been approached to headline the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show at Santa Clara, California, next February. As per Page Six’s exclusive report, Adele has been in the running, but has not been officially booked. Aside from her, the possible headliners also include Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus.
As per the report, Adele’s chances might be high as her fiancé, Rich Paul, appears to be one of the sports’ biggest agents. Moreover, the 37-year-old artist has previously attended the Super Bowl game. In her 2024 Las Vegas concert, she revealed her experience of attending the game the year before — when Rihanna was the showstopper.

She quipped, “Last year I went, obviously I didn’t go for the football at all. I went to watch Rihanna.” She shared the same thoughts during a live show just hours before the match. According to sources from the NFL background, the “Someone Like You” crooner might bag the gig. However, a few insiders revealed that the headliners have not been officially booked.
Interestingly, this would not be the first time Adele had been offered to lead the halftime show. She had mentioned that she had rejected the Super Bowl offer in the past. During a gig in Los Angeles in 2016, she told her fans that she was offered to headline next year’s game. Clearing the air, the vocalist stated that she won’t be performing at the 2017 halftime.
“First of all, I’m not doing the Super Bowl…I mean, that show is not about music. I can’t dance or anything like that. They were very kind, they did ask me, but I did say no”, Adele had said at the time.
