Antonio Romero has revealed that Real Madrid will consider selling Rodrygo Goes if his form does not improve, with an €80m asking price and interest from Arsenal.
Real Madrid could part ways with Rodrygo Goes in the summer of 2025 if the Brazilian star does not improve his form, according to Cadena SER journalist Antonio Romero.

Rodrygo was once considered a mainstay in Real Madrid’s plans, but he struggled to be consistent last season despite scoring 14 goals and providing 10 assists in all competitions. Rodrygo has continued to play under new coach Xabi Alonso at the FIFA Club World Cup, but the pressure to contribute has begun to mount.
“It’s an open secret: if Rodrygo doesn’t come back to his senses and the right offer comes in, the possibility of him leaving is very high,” said Antonio Romero. “The solution lies in his quality, which is very high, and his ability to make a difference in games.”
According to Romero, Real Madrid do not want to lose the version of Rodrygo that shone brightly two or three seasons ago. However, if the Brazilian continues to show lackluster form, “sluggish and ineffective in finishing”, the club will consider selling him if a suitable offer comes in.
Real are understood to value Rodrygo at around €80m (around £67.5m). Arsenal are among those interested, with coach Mikel Arteta keen to sign a versatile winger this summer.
Rodrygo faces a pivotal summer in his career, as he needs to prove his worth to retain his place at the Bernabeu amid increasingly fierce competition for places in the squad.
