It is a rock ballad in which members Freddie Mercury, Brian May and Roger Taylor harmonise to create the impression of a 100-voice choir. Still in the Queen guitar style, the song is also quite complexly arranged and features a solo by guitarist Brian May. The song reached number 2 in the UK charts and number 11 in the US.
We Will Rock You
We Will Rock You is the name of a song written by Brian May. A version of it was used as the first track on the 1977 album “News of The World”. This version features a stomping and clapping rhythm to the chorus that is characteristic of the song. When performed live, the song is often performed after We Are The Champions, another popular track from the album. It is also widely used at sporting events.
