Justin Jefferson got the gift of his life last month when the Minnesota Vikings gave him a four-year, $140-million contract extension – the largest not just at wide receiver, but among non-quarterbacks. Unfortunately, it seems that he will have to allocate a sizable portion of that toward supporting the family that he allegedly does not want.

On Monday, DailyMail.com obtained a June 26 order from New Jersey judge Aldo J. Russo declaring the highly-accomplished wide receiver the father of his ex-girlfriend Andrea Galea’s daughter, Stella, whom she allegedly attempted to abort before deciding to have it delivered, then suing Jefferson for support.

The order also denied his request to prevent her from taking the child on a vacation to Italy:

“[Jefferson’s] emergent application for an OTSC [order to show cause] to prevent [Galea] from traveling to Italy with the minor child is denied, as the court finds that [Jefferson] has not met the burden of proof to establish immediate and irreparable harm.

“[Galea] may travel to Capri, Italy with the minor child from July 1, 2024 to July 12, 2024. By June 30, 2024, [Galea] shall provide [Jefferson] (with) a detailed itinerary, including flight information, locations, and telephone numbers where the child and parent may be reached.”

Who is Andrea Galea? A brief profile of Justin Jefferson’s ex-girlfriend and mother of his child

Like Justin Jefferson, Andrea Galea studied at Louisiana State University, where she majored in philosophy and sociology and was a member of the Tigers’ swimming team.

Upon her graduation, she enrolled at the University of Miami (FL) School of Law and obtained her law doctorate in 2023. She currently works as an intern at Robbins and Robbins, a law firm in New Jersey.

She and Jefferson reportedly first became romantically involved in 2019 during his final season at LSU. Upon leaving for the NFL, however, they drifted apart.

They reconnected in April 2023, according to the paternity suit that she filed this February. That was when she became pregnant. Stella Galea was eventually born in December.

Galea’s paternity lawsuit accused Jefferson of neglecting her and Stella once he realized that his desired abortion would not happen:

“Although he earns millions of dollars per year, Defendant has not provided a penny of financial support for the Child.”

Justin Jefferson has yet to respond to the ruling.
