The ‘Lip Sync Battle’ co-host shares her four children ‘All of Me’ singer John Legend

Chrissy Teigen’s daughter is her own personal Joan Rivers.

The Lip Sync Battle co-host, 39, opened up about her 8-year-old daughter Luna’s fashion critiques during an appearance on Today with Jenna & Friends. Teigen spoke to host Jenna Bush Hager, 43, and guest host Dwyane Wade, also 43, about her “very modest” daughter.

“Luna doesn’t like anything I wear ever,” she told the hosts. “She doesn’t like cleavage. She’s very modest. Except, you know how kids nowadays will wear crop tops with big baggy jeans and stuff? She tends to do like masculine stuff, so with me, when I get dressed up, she’s just very … like, if she saw this, she’d be buttoning it up.”

Teigen shares four chldren — sons Wren, 20 months, and Miles, 6, and daughters Esti, 2, and Luna, 8 — with husband John Legend. In August 2023, Teigen opened up to PEOPLE about being a mom to four kids.

“For me, the hardest part is making sure the older ones feel loved and taken care of and just as special as the babies,” she said. “There’s a lot of diaper changing and feeding and it seems like you’re coddling these two little babies and they’re not getting enough. I think any parent of multiple kids can understand that you want to make sure they still feel loved.”

During the debut episode of her new Audible podcast, Self-Conscious, the mom of four opened up to guest Mel Robbins about her ongoing struggle with seeking approval — and teared up as she admitted she’s afraid her children will inherit her tendency to be a people pleaser.

“Really scared of passing this along to my kids. I think that is the big realization for me is, I can’t do this to my kids,” she said. “I don’t ever want them to feel like they have to perform for everybody and be good all the time, but I know that sometimes I probably am that way.”

“I do want them to be the most polite, and I don’t want people to think that they’re just celebrity a—hole kids,” Teigen continued. “And so I might go harder the other direction to make sure that they don’t come off that way.”
