Wynonna Judd leaves American Idol fans ‘scared and worried’ as singer looks ‘frozen’ during live performance

Wynonna was previously forced to speak out after fan speculation about her health

WYNONNA Judd has concerned fans with her latest live performance.

The country music legend performed alongside Emmy Russell for the American Idol final on Sunday.

During their live performance, Wynonna, 59, and the young star sang Coal Miner’s Daughter, a song originally released by Emmy’s grandmother, Loretta Lynn.

Wynonna walked onto the stage with her face covered in makeup, wearing a cowboy hat that covered her bright red hair.

The celebrity added sparkling jewelry to her look and embellished her black blazer with blue stones.

Yet despite her bold style, Wynonna seems meek on stage, barely moving when she sings well.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, fans were quick to point out Wynonna’s inconsistent form, with many expressing concern about her health.

“Wynonna Judd literally didn’t move at all during her song. It’s a bit disturbing,” one person said.

“@Wynonna is DEFINITELY hiding some type of health issue on @AmericanIdol,” a second person claimed.

“Something is wrong with Wynonna,” a third social media user said .

“Wynonna… it’s giving you don’t wanna be there,” a fourth snarked.

“What is wrong with #Wynonna she acted the same way when she sang with #JellyRoll,” another fan observed.

FAN FEARS

One fan referred to Wynonna’s performance back in November, when she sang alongside Jelly Roll.

As the duo sang side by side on stage at the CMA awards, Wynnona clutched onto Jelly Roll’s jacket.

Fans quickly linked her actions to vertigo, and hinted that it may have been difficult for her on stage.

“Wynonna has vertigo and you could see in her eyes she was having it. The lights flashing will set it off. I have it and flashing lights no way. Glad Jelly realized it and held onto her. She also had a grip on him,” one person said.

“Jelly Roll was spot on and Wynonna sounded great but something was for sure going on with her.

“She appears to be needing to hang on him for balance and almost looked like a mannequin while performing. Hoping it’s not something medical that’s bad going on,” a second wrote.

WYNNONA SPEAKS OUT

Despite fan concern for her health, Wynonna quickly clarified her actions during the performance.

The star posted a video on both Instagram and TikTok, and insisted that her performance was nothing to do with her health.

“I’m just gonna come clean with y’all. I was so freaking nervous,” she said as she smiled.

“I got out there and I looked at Jelly Roll. I wanted it to be so good for him. I could cry right now, but I’m not going to because I’m such a fan of his and he asked me to sing and I said, ‘Absolutely!’

“I got out there and I was so nervous that I just held on for dear life. And that’s the bottom line.”

Wynonna then assured fans that she was heading off for the next leg of her tour, and added, “all is well.”
