The golf world is filled with massive hype, all thanks to the upcoming PGA Championship. Especially so when the field includes a total of 16 LIV golfers aiming to duke it out alongside numerous PGA Tour Pros, resulting in much tension being brewed up on the greens. However, just a single tweet from Paige Spiranac appears to have paused the anxiousness that was being cooked up, all thanks to her ‘legendary’ tease that finally took shape just hours ago.

The 31-year-old model shared a picture of the cover for the 60th-anniversary edition of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit magazine on her X handle. While doing so, Spiranac’s fans couldn’t help but express their awe of the diva who was part of it.
Back in March, the diva had teased about the collaboration she would have with SI Swimsuit. Paige Spiranac had done so while urging them to follow the magazine in order to catch the photo shoot that it would drop because of its celebrations; “You guys know I would never steer you in the wrong direction, I think you should follow Sports Illustrated Swimsuit… Something legendary is about to happen.”
Come May, just two months later, the publication made do with their promise and went ahead to drop the epic collab. And, while sharing the snap of the cover, the golf queen also added a caption of her own, expressing her disbelief at the opportunity that she received; “Ahh the @SI_Swimsuit cover for the 60th anniversary! I can’t believe I’m on it.“
Even the fans were quick to convey their amazement while dishing out their best wishes as one of them replied, “Why wouldn’t you be… that smile alone.. c’mon.” Meanwhile, another couldn’t help but come forward and throw around a bit of golf analogy, calling her the one with the best ‘score’ among the ladies; “And the leader in the clubhouse to boot. Congrats, Paige.” It looks like the hype surrounding the upcoming major and the question of who would score the lowest at the event was overshadowed, albeit for a moment, by Paige Spiranac’s announcement.
She was but one of the many women who were invited to be featured on the cover of the 60th-anniversary edition of SI Swimsuit. Apart from Spiranac, there was one other model with ties to golf who joined her for the shoot: Brooks Koepka’s wife, Jena Sims.
Jena Sims joins Spiranac for SI Swimsuit photoshoot
The LIV golfer’s wife had, just days ago, shared a video of her sporting various dazzling outfits on Instagram while teasing how there was just “one more week” for the “Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 60th Anniversary Issue release.” Spiranac, at the same time, was all for the model’s comeback into the iconic magazine after her pregnancy, as she quickly commented, “See you soon!!” under the post.
The community didn’t stop there, as the former actress was bombarded with a lot of support as a result of the video. From followers commenting on her beauty to others dishing out best wishes, her Instagram handle was brimming with much love. Well, looking back at it right now, it truly served as a breather of sorts as well just like Spiranac’s announcement amid the ongoing drama in the golf world.
