OUCH! Jennifer Lopez REACTS to Internet HATING HER & JLo Makes It Worse?!

Jennifer Lopez is responding to her lackluster concert ticket sales and the fact that the entire internet seems to be against her. Welcome to Popcorn Planet, I am Andy Signor, and my goodness, the hate for JLo is strong on the internet. I’ve never really had an issue with JLo, but I gotta be honest, all these clips on TikTok and all these haters have been quite revealing. We talked about it a little bit yesterday as well, and some of the stuff we’re learning about her is not helping her case. It’s very interesting to see her new response to all this backlash. She’s definitely putting her PR team to work to try to fight this negative wave, and she’s receiving a lot of backlash. I found some more things to go through with you, so let’s delve into it.

Jennifer Lopez is reportedly disappointed over her sales but remains proud of her new projects. She’s very focused on her latest project and doesn’t want the bad press to affect her. An insider says that Lopez has faced plenty of problems like this before and has always managed to get over them. She moves on when things like this happen, and honestly, that’s what she should do. She will continue to be successful regardless of what TikTok and the internet say about her. She’s not going to stop; she has too big of a brand and a dedicated fan base. There are plenty of other avenues she can explore, such as more acting roles, and she’ll do just fine.

Last month, JLo raised eyebrows when she canceled several of her shows for her upcoming “This Is Me… Now” tour due to weak ticket sales. The stops included cities like Nashville, Raleigh, Atlanta, and Tampa. I would have gone to the Tampa show, but now it’s not happening. These shows were supposed to take place between August, but they were canceled without any explanation. Obviously, the tickets just didn’t sell well in those cities. We looked at the ticket sales in yesterday’s video, and while the first show in New York is doing well, the second show is not as successful. There are a lot of cheap JLo tickets out there, so if you ever wanted to see her, now’s your chance.

Her record also debuted at the lowest of any of Lopez’s albums, ranking at number 38 on the Billboard chart. This is despite the big splashy Amazon docuseries and everything else that was done to try to launch it. A second source tells us that Lopez is disappointed over the underwhelming response to her tour, album, documentary, and movie. It’s like she has four things going on at once, which might be a bit of overkill. A third insider says she’s not letting this derail her next ventures, but it could, because investors might hesitate to invest when they see such returns. Jennifer is extremely proud of all the hard work she puts into her projects, and Ben Affleck has been a huge support through it all. They are apparently house hunting for a new place in New York, and she’s working on the new “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” which is already filming in Jersey. She genuinely doesn’t care what others think about her, and I believe that regarding all of her criticism. Affleck has been keeping her grounded through all the highs and lows, and she’s already onto her next thing, looking for a fresh start.

Despite her resilience, there is definitely a lot of backlash against JLo. She’s not entirely helping herself either. In the age of TikTok, anybody who’s ever met a celebrity can just share their story, and TikTok creates a venue where everyone wants more and more of these stories. Anybody can get a huge viral hit by sharing an experience they had with a celebrity, and celebrities have a lot of experiences. Let’s go through some of these experiences that people have shared.

This is one story that everybody’s talking about, and the woman sharing it seems credible. I wasn’t there, so I can’t say for sure, but I don’t know why she’d make this up. Her complaint is about Jennifer Lopez and it’s technically not her story, but her parents’. They used to work at one of the casinos in Las Vegas, and Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez came in one day. This was many years ago, before they first broke up. Apparently, Ben was super nice and super gracious. Her mom said he couldn’t have been kinder, and he left a good tip. She doesn’t remember exactly how much it was, but it was a couple of hundred dollars. However, JLo heard about it, came back, and took back all of the tip except for maybe 10 or 15 bucks. Ever since then, she’s had a bad taste in her mouth about JLo.

This story seems believable to many, and the idea of someone going back to un-tip seems incredible, but it seems credible because she’s not the only one who has said such a thing. There are many more stories like this, and some are even worse. One recurring theme is that JLo doesn’t like people to look her in the eyes. I know someone who worked audio on a JLo project, and she had him kicked out and stopped the whole production because he looked her in the eyes. I have about 15 more stories like this, and it’s something I’ve heard a lot. You can’t look her in the eyes, and there’s a part of me that understands she might want to control how people interact with her, but it comes off as too much.

Another story from 2009 involves a woman who met JLo at a radio event. She was working there, and many women waited in line to meet her. The DJs were going to meet her separately. The woman brought her Selena DVD, excited to meet JLo. When she finally got to JLo, she barely even looked at her, said nothing, grabbed the DVD, signed it, and put her arm around her as if she was trying not to touch her. That was it. She said nothing to her and was like that with the rest of the line. However, when the DJs came out, who were mostly males and in charge of playing her music, JLo came alive. She was happy, bubbly, and talkative—a totally different person. This woman was bummed out because, as a Latina, she wanted to have an amazing experience with JLo but was disappointed.

This is a problem. I met The Rock, and he’s a perfect example of the best celebrity experience. He’s such a pro; he knows who his audience is and knows that they will propel him forward. He takes the time to be present and considerate. Each time I’ve met him, he’s made sure to give that moment his all, knowing how important it is for fans. JLo, on the other hand, seems to lack this approach, especially in situations where these people are working at the radio station and deserve her time of day. This is why TikTok and everyone else are jumping in to make these claims—they’re over it.

Tommy Davidson from “In Living Color” also shared a story. He knew JLo, and he tells it well. He explains that they were friends when she was coming up, but when she got big, she ghosted him and ignored him like he didn’t exist. He didn’t want to engage or have that energy in his life. So many people have come forward to echo this sentiment, making it hard to dismiss.

I have my own story from working on the movie “The Boy Next Door” with JLo. She played a teacher, and I was a student. One day, we were filming outside at a school, and during a break, she was sitting across from me. She turned around and leaned over the back of her chair, calling out for someone. My friend corrected her, and she just turned back around without acknowledging us further. It reminded me of the stories others have shared, painting a picture of someone who doesn’t care much about others.

I understand it’s tiring to be a celebrity, and I try to give all celebrities the benefit of the doubt. However, these stories are piling up, and it’s becoming hard to ignore. The reality is her sales aren’t good enough for her to be this diva-esque. JLo needs a whole PR makeover and an attitude adjustment to fix this. My advice to her is to go out there, meet people, be overly gracious and kind, and invest in her fan base. Prove the critics wrong by showing that she can be genuine and kind. Treating fans as fellow human beings and acknowledging their support is crucial.

In conclusion, JLo is out there trying to spin the narrative, but what do you think? Do you think the backlash against JLo is too harsh? I want to hear your thoughts.
