NEW: Beyonce HATES Rihanna & Stole Hair Idea | The Dream Exposes Her Evil Skeletons | HO
Gurrrrlll, Rihanna just announced the launch of Fenty Hair, and as much as The Navy is excited for the launch we also had the BeyHive comparing her hair care line to Beyonce’s hair care line, Cecred and saying that Rih copied Beyonce. Mhhh, okkkaaayyy.
Girl, Rihanna just announced the launch of Fenty Hair, and while The Navy is excited about the launch, we also have the BeyHive comparing her hair care line to Beyoncé’s Sacred, saying that Rihanna copied Beyoncé. Mmm, okay. And for those who say Beyoncé doesn’t care about the relaunch of her hair care line, have y’all seen the lawsuit filed against The-Dream, who worked with both Beyoncé and Rihanna? Allegedly, Beyoncé has always felt some type of way about Rihanna and vice versa. Honey, this is some hot, stinking tea I’m about to drop on y’all, so get ready.
Our girl Rihanna relaunched Fenty Beauty in partnership with LVMH in 2017 and disrupted the cosmetics industry with an inclusive foundation range that spanned 40 shades. Her range was truly a game changer in the industry. Being the entrepreneur she is, Rihanna then expanded her beauty business in 2020 to include skincare before debuting the perfume brand Fenty Fragrance a year later. Of course, she also owns the lingerie company Savage X Fenty, and now we are talking about a whole new hair care line. Well, she’s releasing everything but an album. And girl, when exactly do you get time to sleep with all these ventures going on?
In the social media teaser video, Rihanna wears a trench coat and a shaggy blonde pixie hairstyle before turning to the camera and asking, “Are you ready?” Yes, ma’am, we are. She is also seen walking through a suburban neighborhood showing the different hairstyles and hair textures of the people who live there. Based on the announcement, Fenty Hair will offer a flexible line of products designed for a variety of hair textures, from tight curls and afros to big blow dries and slicked back ponytails. Rihanna also wrote in the caption of the announcement, “You know how much switching my hair up means to me. I have had almost every texture, color, and length, from weaves and braids to natural. So I’m launching a flexible line of products not only for every hair want but every single product is designed to strengthen and repair all types of hair, which is what we truly need. It is time to play and get stronger by the style, baby.”
So far, there’s been a lot of positive reaction to Rihanna’s hair care line, with people even joking about how they can’t wait to put on Fenty from head to toe. We also have people saying that if Rihanna is truly involved in the manufacturing of each product, they’d assume there would be some type of authentic Bajan influence ingredient-wise. They are hoping it’s not the same recycled fruit and oils that companies tend to use nowadays because where Rihanna comes from in the Caribbean, they tend to use leaves and certain plants for health and beauty rather than food or clays. Fans are really hoping that the products will be authentic in that direction.
I mean, it’s an amazing business move for Rihanna, but the only problem is that the BeyHive is saying that Rihanna copied their Queen Bey. Okay, we already know that Beyoncé debuted her textured hair care brand Sacred in February, which is based on keratin recovery technology. Beyoncé’s brand offers a range of eight hair care products, and part of the foundation collection was developed for all hair textures and rooted in rituals she inherited from her family. The business venture actually seems to be a family affair and one close to Beyoncé’s heart, with a clear focus on both inclusion and product performance.
While talking about her hair products, she told Essence Magazine that Sacred is a legacy product for her, one that’s probably the most rooted in her ancestry. “It’s so far beyond business. Hair is our lineage, it’s our family story. Having access to proven ingredients and creating our own technology that is patent-pending, we now have a line that works universally.”
For those who don’t know, Beyoncé’s mother was a hairdresser who owned a hair salon and filled Beyoncé’s childhood with memories of working in the salon, interacting with clients, and trying out different hairstyles. Beyoncé said that she has many beautiful memories attached to her hair, and according to her, the relationship we have with our hair is such a deeply personal journey. For her, it comes from spending her childhood in her mother’s salon to her father applying oil on her scalp to treat her psoriasis. Apparently, this sense of sacredness and cultural authenticity makes up the values of her brand, which represent the core foundations she aims to showcase.
Now, with Rihanna also announcing her brand, some people claim that Rihanna copied Beyoncé because it’s been just a few months since Beyoncé’s launch. Well, if you have been following Rihanna, you know that she has been working on her hair care line for three years. She actually trademarked Fenty Hair back in March of 2021, before Beyoncé teased her hair care line. In fact, if we are talking about trademarks, Beyoncé trademarked Sacred in 2022, after Rihanna trademarked Fenty Hair. Regardless, the BeyHive is not happy about how Fenty Hair has been received, considering the amount of criticism Beyoncé got when she launched her products.
For y’all who remember, when Beyoncé launched her products, we had people questioning how she was releasing a hair care line when she’s always in wigs. To prove people wrong, Beyoncé even did an entire hair tutorial showcasing her fabulous hair. On the other hand, the BeyHive was saying that Rihanna rarely wears her own hair, yet she is hardly getting the same criticism. One person even wrote on X: “Beyoncé shows her very healthy hair frequently over the course of her career, with a familial history of hair care equals cash grab, not trustworthy. Rihanna never wears her hair, no history of hair care, billion-dollar brand equals nothing. Y’all, relatable queen I guess.” Another Hive member also added: “They also demanded to see Beyoncé’s cosmetology license. I’ll never forget how angry they were that white and Asian people were included in Bey’s marketing, and when she finally showed her long natural hair, they said she’s anti-Black.” Someone else was also like: “A lot of people criticized Bey’s hair care line by saying things like she always wears a wig, but when it’s Rihanna, I don’t see this type of criticism. Some of you guys are so hypocritical and just show how much you hate Beyoncé for no reason.”
The BeyHive is clearly upset, and I personally see where they are coming from. In all honesty, Rihanna hasn’t gotten as much criticism as Beyoncé when she launched her hair care line. Maybe Rihanna should also be put under the same pressure to showcase her own hair the way Beyoncé was forced to. But you know, as much as the BeyHive was going hard on Rihanna, we also had The Navy saying that the BeyHive is just mad because Rihanna is going to dominate where Beyoncé cannot once again. I honestly think people just need to relax because there is enough money and enough people for both queens to profit from their own hair care lines. So maybe people should just stop pitting Rihanna and Beyoncé against each other.
But speaking of how these two have always been pitted against each other, Beyoncé’s alleged skeletons were laid bare in the bombshell lawsuit against The-Dream, where Chanzasmra suggested that The-Dream pitted the two artists against each other and Beyoncé enjoyed being the favorite. Okay, the thing is, The-Dream was sued by songwriter Chanzasmra, originally from the Netherlands, who claimed he allegedly lured her after promising to make her the next Queen Bey. She accused The-Dream of using Beyoncé’s name to exploit her, alleging that if she did what he told her, he’d change her life. The-Dream allegedly had a special relationship with Beyoncé that he described as being even stronger than a spousal connection and knew her inner secrets, which reportedly included information about one of her pregnancies and tension with Rihanna.
According to what Chanzasmra said, The-Dream allegedly promised to make her the next Beyoncé and Rihanna, but she claimed he lured her into his deeply sadistic world while seemingly spilling alleged secrets about Beyoncé. After the aspiring artist met him in January 2015, she also said that The-Dream frequently pitted Rihanna against Beyoncé, implying that Rihanna was forced to fight for his attention and was frustrated that he was giving it to Beyoncé instead of to her. Apparently, The-Dream told Chanzasmra that Rihanna was begging him for good records, but because of his special relationship with Beyoncé, he saved them for Beyoncé and he promised Chanzasmra that she could be part of that as well.
Chanzasmra said that The-Dream told her that Rihanna was possessive over him and got angry when he worked with Beyoncé, and in an apparent effort to reiterate how grateful she should be for the opportunity to work with him, The-Dream told her that Rihanna would frequently send him flowers and other gifts. Allegedly, The-Dream told Chanzasmra that she better be grateful that he was working with her because he was putting work on Beyoncé’s album on hold and that if she wanted to reach the same level of success as Beyoncé, she needed to become as close to or closer to him than Beyoncé. He said that meant that she should ask for and follow his advice on everything, rely on him to be her main confidant, and limit her inner circle to only those people he approved of and trusted.
Now, I won’t go into the details of everything Chanzasmra accused The-Dream of, but she made it look like Beyoncé actually enjoyed being favored over Rihanna. In fact, the entire lawsuit actually raises a bunch of questions about Beyoncé and Jay-Z because The-Dream is literally part of their inner circle like Diddy was. I mean, what does this really say about Beyoncé and Jay-Z and what sanctuary is this that Beyoncé had with The-Dream? Baby, as you think about that, let me know what you think about the BeyHive saying that Rihanna copied Beyoncé’s hair care venture in the comments section below.
