The seven-time gold medalist has not been shy about sharing her candid thoughts on social media throughout the Paris Olympics.

Simone Biles weighed in on a common question asked to Olympic athletes.

Biles, who became the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history on July 30, gave her honest opinion on the social media site X.

“You guys really gotta stop asking athletes what’s next after they win a medal at the Olympics,” the seven-time gold medalist wrote.

In a follow up tweet, Biles explained her reasoning. “Let us soak up the moment we’ve worked our whole lives for,” she said.

Biles has had a successful run at the 2024 Paris Olympics. She’s added three new gold medals to her collection for her performances during the women’s gymnastics team final event, the all-around final, and the vault final.

Throughout the Olympics Games, Biles has been outspoken on social media, including her candid thoughts about the food at the Olympic Village as well as her reaction to criticism about her hair during competition.

On July 30, Biles shared an Instagram story wearing a slicked back ponytail hours before the women’s gymnastics team final, posing with a handheld fan.

“Don’t come for me about my hair,” she wrote on the photo. “IT WAS DONE but bus has NO AC & it’s like 9,0000 degrees.”

In a second photo, she posed a selfie posing with her eyes closed and the fan pointed at her face. She added more commentary, writing, “Gonna hold your hand when I say this. next time you wanna comment on a black girls hair. JUST DON’T.”

Biles also appeared to address controversial comments made by former President Donald Trump. In a post on X, Biles retweeted a post featuring photos of herself posing with her gold medal and her diamond goat necklace.

“I love my black job,” she wrote, presumably a nod to comments Trump made during a panel hosted by the National Association of Black Journalists and the June presidential debate.

Biles has also remained a fierce defender of her husband, Jonathan Owens, who was previously criticized for suggesting that he was the “catch” in their relationship.

This time, she slammed critics who complained on social media about Owens wearing her Olympic gold medal.

The NFL star shared a post on Instagram July 30 posing with his wife while he wore one of her gold medals. The caption was a sweet nod to his wife’s accomplishments, but the comment section was full of Instagram users who accused him of taking away her spotlight and demanded he take the medal off.

Biles entered the conversation Aug. 1 in the comment section of a TikTok video posted by Internet personality Kiera Breaugh.

“Crazy thing is, I put my medal on every single one of my family members and took pictures. So don’t ever make assumptions,” she wrote. “Like y’all are so f—-ing miserable. Leave us alone.”
