The ‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ costars locked lips once more!

Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey are cozy costars.

The British actor, 37, and the Marvel star, 40, appeared alongside fellow castmates Mahershala Ali and Rupert Friend at the New York premiere of their new film Jurassic World Rebirth on Monday, June 23.

Johansson and Bailey turned heads when they gave each other a quick peck on the lips.

“I believe in being able to show love in all different ways. And if you can’t kiss your friends… life’s too short not to,” Bailey told Entertainment Tonight when asked about kissing his costar.

Bailey wore a white scoop neck t-shirt, with a light gray cardigan and gray trousers. The Bridgerton star accessorized with black leather loafers and gold geometric sunglasses with a pink gradient lens.

Johansson wore an ivory gown with miniature floral appliques across the entire gown. It also included chiffon ivory fabric that was placed across her hips, along the front and back of her legs, and at the bottom of the dress, creating a mermaid silhouette.

The form-fitting gown also included a corseted bodice that was cinched at the waist with a simple fabric belt, which accentuated the subtle details of the corset’s boning. She also matched her husband in a bright ensemble.

This isn’t the pair’s first time showing some affection on the red carpet. At the World Premiere in London on Tuesday, June 17, the two shared another quick kiss.

Despite chatter about the pair’s kisses, Bailey is openly gay and Johansson has been married to Colin Jost for four years. Johansson and Jost even sported coordinating ensembles on Monday. The Saturday Night Live star wore a white linen suit, with a white button-down shirt and white sneakers.

Bailey spoke about his sexuality and the upcoming film in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter. He admitted that he has felt the “weight” of co-headlining the movie as an out gay actor.

“There’s moments where, yes, you have to be excellent to prove that you can do it. And it’s not like I haven’t felt that. There’s the weight of history,” he told the outlet. “And there’s endless brilliant people who have come before you who have changed the way that people see sexuality.”

“Any sort of sense of prejudice against sexuality is something to fight against, and what better way to do that than to go and play any kind of character,” he added. “Being an out gay actor, historically, meant that you wouldn’t be able to play straight and there weren’t any gay parts to play anyway. That’s obviously changed massively.”

According to the official movie description, Jurassic World Rebirth takes place five years after the events of 2022’s Jurassic World Dominion. The film follows Zora (Johansson), a skilled covert operations expert, as she leads a team on a top-secret mission to secure the genetic material of the world’s three largest dinosaurs.
