Jason Momoa was the belle of the ball at the Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary afterparty on Sunday, Feb. 16.

The Aquaman star let loose on the dance floor and with the star-studded crowd as they partied at The Plaza Hotel in New York City after the show’s milestone anniversary special.

And Momoa knew how to pick the perfect dance partner with Oscar darling Meryl Streep by his side. The pair shut down the dance floor, striking an epic pose for the camera in one photo which Momoa subsequently shared to Instagram.

Momoa, 45, was clearly thrilled to be hanging out with Streep, 75, as he grinned in another snap with his arms wrapped around the iconic actress.

In addition to Streep, the Aquaman star and his actress girlfriend Adria Arjona also posed for pics with Jerry Seinfeld, Kristen Wiig, Bill Murray, Chevy Chase and Anya Taylor-Joy. Notably, Momoa also sought out SNL dresser Donna Richards at the afterparty after the two shared a cute exchange during the show.

During an audience Q&A sketch, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler brought Richards on the stage introducing her by joking, “Donna has been dressing every host since 1997. She has seen every celebrity here in their underpants. Donna, I know it’s hard to pick, but who was your favorite…?” before Richards cut in declaring, “Jason Momoa!”

Later in the skit, Momoa asked a question, sheepishly saying, “Yeah, that Donna lady, she like to travel? Or what’s her vibe?”

“The things that have happened in the last three days is insane. I can’t even explain from seeing Jack [Nicholson] and [Robert] DeNiro and Meryl Streep and seeing Cher and Bonnie Raitt and Lauryn Hill,” he said. “That show is the reason, probably, why I’m in this industry.”

The actor is now preparing for new adventures filming season 2 of his Max series On the Roam and declaring on Instagram “It’s LOBO time. Finally.”

He’s set to play Lobo in the upcoming Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.
